BrowserMesh Privacy Policy & Data Commitment

Effective date: September 16, 2026 • BrowserMesh

This website is operated by BrowserMesh.

Trade Name: BrowserMesh

What data does BrowserMesh store or process?

BrowserMesh follows a strict zero-knowledge architecture. All workflow scripts, extracted datasets, session cookies, and browser automation logs are stored exclusively in your local device SQLite database. BrowserMesh cloud infrastructure never stores, views, analyzes, or transmits your automated scraping payloads.

How does BrowserMesh protect user privacy across nodes?

BrowserMesh desktop, Linux, and Android nodes communicate with the central orchestration coordinator exclusively over outbound TLS 1.3 encrypted WebSockets. No incoming firewall ports are exposed, no third-party tracking pixels profile user activity, and all client authentication tokens remain cryptographically isolated.

1. Data Sovereignty & Zero Access to Workflow Data

BrowserMesh is engineered around a strict Local-First, Zero-Knowledge architecture. We believe that what you automate, synchronize, or process is your private property.

  • Local Execution & Storage: Browser instances executed on your self-hosted machines (Windows, Linux, Android) write directly to your local embedded database (SQLite) or local filesystem.
  • Zero Workflow Data Logging: BrowserMesh cloud servers do NOT intercept, store, process, analyze, view, or sell any HTML, JSON, media, credentials, or datasets processed by your nodes.

2. User as Independent Data Controller & Legal Responsibility

Under global data protection frameworks (including the EU GDPR, US CCPA/CPRA, and India's DPDP Act 2023), you (the user) act as the sole Data Controller for any data you automate, process, or synchronize using BrowserMesh.

  • Legal Basis for Data Collection: You must ensure that you possess a valid lawful basis, legitimate interest, or explicit user consent before processing any personal identifiable information (PII).
  • Compliance With Local Laws: Users across all countries must ensure their automated workflows comply with regional privacy regulations and do not violate privacy rights.

3. Platform Account & Telemetry Information

We only collect the minimum information strictly necessary to provide the platform service:

  • Account Information: When you register on the BrowserMesh Console, we collect your email address and authentication credentials.
  • Billing & Payment Data: Payment transactions are processed directly by authorized PCI-DSS compliant payment aggregators. We do not store full credit/debit card numbers or bank credentials on our servers.
  • Node Health Telemetry: Optional client telemetry includes node status, OS version, ping latency, and memory metrics solely to coordinate task distribution.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

Our website uses strictly necessary session storage for authentication and UI preferences. We do not use third-party tracking pixels for cross-site behavioral profiling or sell user data to advertising brokers.

5. International Privacy Rights & Data Subject Requests

Depending on your country of residence, you have rights under applicable privacy legislation (such as GDPR, CCPA, and DPDP Act) to access, rectify, or delete your platform account information.

To exercise any data subject rights regarding your BrowserMesh account, email our privacy team at support@browsermesh.in. We will respond within thirty (30) days.
